We are HEATEDXCHANGE
Since 2014, HEATEDXCHANGE has maintained their vision and passion to fuse together dynamic hard rock music coupled with electronic elements, wide-ranging vocal harmonies and an emphasis on lyrical content. HEATEDXCHANGE began as a production collaboration between vocalist, Samantha Mera, and guitarist, Rob Spampinato, collectively writing, composing, and performing music.
Music has been in their blood for as long as Rob and Samantha can remember. Rob’s history of writing, recording, and touring with several original bands has spanned 15 years and Samantha has been writing, recording, and performing as a multi-instrument musician since she was 14 years old. Within this collaborative effort, all of the writing, producing, instrumental performances, vocals and video recordings are also produced by HEATEDXCHANGE.
Their love for music and the drive to continuously compose new musical soundscapes can be clearly heard in their latest singles, “Outbreak,” released in June of 2020, “How Many Times,” released in August of 2020, and their latest single, “Going for the Gold,” released in February 2022.
Grammy award winning DJ/producer, Dave Audé, remixed “Outbreak,” which landed them on the largest global dance radio station, BPM, on Sirius XM radio during quarantine in 2020.
“How Many Times” was written as an anthem for victims of abuse. This song resonated with many listeners and gave them a sense of strength, hope and courage. Samantha’s own personal anthem helped give a voice to others and inspire them to speak their truths.
“Going for the Gold” is about pursuing your dreams, following your life’s purpose, and letting nothing stand in your way! This song was mixed by the Grammy award winning mix engineer, Bob Horn. He has worked with many legendary artists including Michael Jackson, Kelly Clarkson, Usher, Timbaland, Brandy, Ne-Yo, BTS, Mario, Nat King Cole and many other stars.
With a love of both modern rock and electronic music, HEATEDXCHANGE has found a very unique way of blending the two together and is paving the way for a fresh, new sound. HEATEDXCHANGE draws from an eclectic mix of hard rock guitars, lush synthesizers, epic vocal harmonies, strong hooks and autobiographical lyrics.

Getting Personal
“I started my music career by performing in various cover and original bands, where I was using my voice to narrate other people’s stories. I viewed myself as a vessel to translate their emotions and experiences. I have come to a point in my life where I have too many stories of my own to tell and I have important messages to spread. I stand for the underdog rising, bravery in the face of fear and self-doubt, equality, peace, inspiration through art, and never giving up on our dreams, no matter what it takes! The desire to express my feelings and connect with others through music is my mission.”

“Music has been around me for my entire life. When I was five, I received my very first guitar as a gift from my parents. After struggling with it for a year, I quit because it hurt my fingers. My dad, a life long drummer, was so disappointed in me that he launched that guitar out the front door, all the way across the lawn. By age 13, I managed to convince my parents to buy me another guitar. From that moment on, I never looked back.
When all of my friends were learning how to play their favorite albums, I had already started creating and writing songs of my own. Lots of songs! Music for me is an escape, a voice and a release. Over the last 20 years, I’ve toured North America with various bands and am constantly working in my studio writing and producing music in all genres. With HEATEDXCHANGE, we have the freedom to release music on our terms. Our team is comprised of some of my very best friends. We are constantly pushing each other to grow and evolve, always moving forward!”
